MEET JON & BRITTANI

Jon and Brittani met for the first time in 2013 at a young adult event. After then event ended, they enjoyed a reception, where they met and conversed for over two hours. Jon was considering priesthood however choose to leave seminary in 2016. November that same year, they reconnected at Mass and later that week went on their first date. They were married in early 2020. Their first five years of marriage had various events, including the pandemic, that helped them grow closer and to adjust and settle into their new rhythm as husband and wife.

JON’S FAMILY

Jon has many siblings. Jon’s parents were loving, happy, active, outgoing, generous, fun hardworking, compassionate, and supportive. He was involved in Boy Scouts and other activities. His parents were very involved in their faith, leading bible studies, and making faith connections with various movies the family watched together. Their faith is one of many values that Jon carries on in his life now.

BRITTANI’S FAMILY

Brittani is the eldest of three children. She has a close relationship with her parents which consists of daily contact with them, and they are able to visit them monthly. Brittani has two younger brothers. One of Brittani’s greatest values she learned from her parents is her Catholic faith.

OUR HOME

They live in Jon’s grandmother’s ranch style home after purchasing it after they were married. They have three indoor cats.

OUR COMMUNITY

Jon and Brittani have a large community consisting of family and friends that live nearby. They have a strong faith and many of their friendships have stemmed from their church community. They enjoy game nights, hiking groups, road trips, and many other things together! Jon and Brittani’s family live close. They enjoy time together with large family gatherings and hanging out on the weekends!

OPENNESS

Their preference is for a semi-open adoption with ongoing communication through letters and photos facilitated by the agency. They are also open to a more open arrangement, including visits at the agency, with the understanding that the level of contact can evolve based on preferences and mutual agreement.
