MEET TOMMY & ASHLEY

We met in college in 2013 during our first education class and quickly became friends. We spent hours together outside of class, enjoying each other’s company and discovering how much we had in common. After we started dating, we met each other’s families early on, and from that point, we never looked back. Just six months into dating, we knew we were meant to be together forever. We married in 2018 after we both finished school.

Our journey together has been filled with love, adventure, and the support of family and friends. We’ve always pushed each other to try new things, be our best selves, and grow together. After tying the knot, we bought our first home, then our second, and have enjoyed countless home projects and quiet moments together. Rarely will you find one of us without the other, and our love continues to bloom as we build our life and love story side by side.

TOMMY’S FAMILY

Tommy is the youngest of two boys. His parents, Joe and Patty, are deeply rooted in the values of family and nature. Joe cherishes the bonds of family and finds joy in camping, exploring trails, and visiting national parks. He believes that the finest moments in life are shared with loved ones, and the prospect of becoming a grandpa fills him with excitement for the new adventures ahead.

Patty is a retired elementary school teacher who has always instilled a love of nature, learning, and creativity in her sons through activities like camping, reading, and crafting. She and Joe look forward to supporting Tommy and Ashley as they grow their family. They eagerly anticipate the joy and memories that grandchildren will bring into their lives.

ASHLEY’S FAMILY

Ashley grew up in a large, close-knit family that loves spending time together. She is the oldest of seven siblings. Her parents, Chris and Kathy, have been crazy about each other since the day they met and have been married for over 30 years. Their family loves to celebrate anything and everything—especially each other!

They cannot wait to become grandparents and watch their daughter and son-in-law become Mommy and Daddy. They are excited to see their other children become aunts and uncles.

"Our soon-to-be grandbaby will be surrounded by so much love and attention all the days of their life. Just on our side of the family, they will have four aunts and two uncles! Every one of us will be vying to hold, rock, feed, spend time with, and play with the new baby. You are in our thoughts and prayers, as is our future grandbaby!"

I believe that our marriage flourishes because we prioritize spending time together. Our love and desire for building a family are strong foundations in our relationship—not just building a family but creating one in which our faith is important. I love Ashley’s willingness to support my creative side as well as my harebrained ideas—within reason.”

“My husband is fun and energetic, kind, caring, loving, and crafty. He loves spending time with me, and he enjoys being creative, both on his own and with me. The strong points in our marriage include the time we spend together, our mutual respect, knowing when to apologize, growing as a couple, attending Mass, and praying together.

I appreciate my husband’s spontaneity and creativity. He is an idea man and pushes me to try new things I may not have attempted on my own.”

OUR HOME

“Our home is a haven of love, laughter, and creativity. We’ve dedicated an entire closet to board games and arts and crafts, ensuring we always have something to spark our imagination. Our garden is a constant source of joy, with different fruits and vegetables growing each year, providing fresh produce and a connection to nature.

The open layout of our living room and kitchen lets us stay connected even when we’re in different parts of the house, making it easy to share moments throughout the day. In the front yard, a garden bed bursts with flowers each spring, and when the weather turns colder, it transforms into a holiday wonderland with festive decorations taking over where the plants once grew.”

OUR COMMUNITY

“We live in a cozy suburban neighborhood, nestled near several churches and schools. Our community is filled with children, and there’s a playground just down the street where our future child will have plenty of space to play and make friends. We’re fortunate to have wonderful neighbors, and we love sharing the fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden with them. This adds to the sense of connection and community that makes our neighborhood so special.”
