Kathleen (Described by Patrick)

“Kathleen is the love of my life and one of my greatest blessings. I enjoy spending every day with her. She is loving, kind, and caring. She is always thinking of others and how to make everyone happy. She is devout in her Catholic faith, and she inspires me to be a better person. One of my goals was to fulfill Kathleen’s dream of being a stay-at-home mom, and with the adoption of Monica, I was able to fulfill the goal. She is a very loving mother to Monica, and I know she has more love to give to Monica’s future siblings. She has always been there for me, and I know she will always be there for our children. My love will continue to grow for her infinitely, and our love story will never end.”

“Patrick has such a kind heart. He always looks out for the underdog, which ironically is how we met since I was quite shy. He is extremely giving and has helped me to become more involved within the community. He is compassionate, loving, loyal, faith filled, and honest. He has a great sense of humor and always makes me laugh. He is a beautiful person, inside and out. Patrick has such a strong Catholic faith and inspires me to be more involved in the Catholic Church. God has truly blessed my life with such a wonderful husband. One of my greatest blessings and answer to prayer is witnessing Patrick become a father. He is an incredible selfless, kind, gentle, and loving father. My prayer for Patrick is for him to have the blessing of having more children as he is a wonderful dad and has so much unconditional love to give. Patrick is mine and Monica’s greatest support system, and I am so incredibly grateful for him.”

MEET PATRICK & KATHLEEN

Patrick and Kathleen met in English class their junior year in high school. Patrick being the outgoing, caring man that he is, decided that Kathleen, a shy, quiet girl, needed a friend. From that moment, they knew God had a special plan for them. They had so many fun memories together in high school such as attending school dances, football games, and their favorite - Dance Marathon. After graduating high school, they attended college together. They married in 2017 in a beautiful Catholic church surrounded by family and friends. In September of 2024, God answered Patrick and Kathleen’s prayers for adoption by blessing them with a beautiful baby girl, Monica. They are forever grateful for her amazing birth mother for blessing them with the miraculous gift of Monica!

PATRICK’S FAMILY

Patrick grew up in Indiana. Patrick has a very large family. He has two older sisters, and older brother and his parents have been married over 40 years. He has 21 aunts and uncles and 27 cousins. His family is spread throughout the country, so it makes for fun family reunions. He is an uncle to eight nieces and two nephews, whom he loves playing with.

KATHLEEN’S FAMILY

Kathleen grew up in Indiana. She has two older brothers, a younger sister, and her parents have been married for 38 years. Kathleen is an aunt to eight nieces and two nephews whom she adores. Kathleen’s family lives close by, allowing her to get together with them often.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

“We live in a family-oriented neighborhood that has a playground, pool, and many walking trails. There are several different places we enjoy visiting in our community. Our church is within walking distance from our home, and we enjoy walking around the trails of the park. We are living in a two-story, four bedrooms, and it is so much fun having family over. We especially enjoy visiting and playing family games in our large game/playroom.”

OPENNESS

Patrick and Kathleen are interested in a semi-open adoption, including letters and pictures sent through the agency or to the birth parents directly. With the option to adjust based on birth parent preference and agreement.
