Profile: Nicholas and Beth

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our family. We are in awe of your courage and openness to consider adoption for your child. We are excited about the potential to welcome another beautiful baby into our family to love and care for all his or her life.

Our story is filled with love. We are best friends and partners in life. We treat life as an adventure and take on every challenge and opportunity together. Our baby boy has brought us so much love, but we know our family is not complete. We hope you will learn more about us and the amazing life we hope to give to a child.

The day of our son’s birth was one of the best days of our lives. But it was also one of the scariest. Due to the medical emergency Beth experienced following our son’s birth, we are no longer able to add to our family naturally. We have chosen to adopt because we know we have more love to give to a child and want our children to grow up with siblings. We have many families in our lives who were completed with the assistance of adoption. We have been fortunate to learn that family is not defined by blood but rather by love and commitment to one another.

“Beth is the leader of our pack. She always is planning ahead for our next big thing, family photos, visiting family, etc. Beth has overcome a lot of adversity since becoming a mom, but you would never know all that she went through. Beth is tough but also humble. I am not sure what I would do without her. She puts her family’s best interest at heart. I appreciate how dedicated she is to each aspect of her life, family, friends, and her career.” Nicholas would describe Beth as generous, as she always puts others before herself.

“Nicholas is my best friend, my partner in life, and my constant source of support and unfailing love. He consistently shows up for everyone in his life and is always putting others needs before his own. Nicholas is passionate, funny, and driven. I appreciate his commitment for his family, his love for those around him and his faithfulness to me. Nicholas cares so deeply for everyone in his life. Nicholas is the best father. He embraces every step of parenthood with love and excitement.”

NICHOLAS' FAMILY

Nick is the youngest of two children. He has an older sister, Alicia, who lives in northern Indiana close to where their parents raised them. Alicia and her husband are expecting their first born in August. Nick says his parents taught him the importance of commitment. They enjoy being able to visit regularly once a month. “Distance has not affected our ability to remain close and in communication with our family. We prioritize spending time together to share stories, take trips, and enjoy meals.”

BETH'S FAMILY

Beth is the youngest of three children who grew up in southern Indiana with their parents. Her parents emphasized the importance of family and valuable time together. Beth and Nicholas have two nieces and two nephews on Beth’s side of the family who they love dearly. Beth has an older sister, Jill and an older brother, Brent. “Family time is so important to us. We do many activities together including camping, taking trips, and spending time together at my mom’s home playing games. In addition to being parents, one of our favorite roles is being aunt and uncle to our four beautiful nieces and nephews.”

OUR HOME 

Nicholas and Beth live in a lovely 2-story 2,400 square foot home in a family friendly neighborhood. They enjoy spending family time in their fenced in back yard. Their neighborhood is a welcoming environment full of families who are always outside with their children. They also have a pool and playground within walking distance to utilize.

OUR COMMUNITY

“We are fortunate to have many friends near and far that we consider family. We have known some of these friends since elementary school and every step in between. Each of our friends holds a special place in our hearts. We mutually support one another and prioritize spending time together. Our family and friends are excited and supportive of our decision to adopt. They look forward to welcoming another child into our circle and plan to love and spoil them as they have our son.”
